PICC, as a business chamber, has been conducting various programmes for its members, the Perak Indian business community and the general public as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility portfolio. Insofar as entrepreneurship is concerned, PICC strongly believes that all efforts must be aimed at the creation and transformation of an entrepreneurial class in the community by way of an innovative approach that incorporates elements such as engagement, education, development of expertise, and profit sharing via equity partnership to ensure sustainability. In this regard, PICC had conducted various training and entrepreneurship programmes for youths, students and women over the years that have eventually become an essential component of its core business.
Business Model
In its efforts to assist the business community grow their businesses, PICC has embarked on this ambitious programme to launch an online business platform through which existing businesses can advertise and market their products. PICC will disseminate information about the businesses and their products.
Products ordered online will be delivered by the respective businesses and PICC will monitor the delivery mechanism to ensure prompt and efficient action on the part of the businesses.
